BremertonBasketball.com is a product of the Bremerton Student & Alumni Assoc. and focuses specifically on Basketball occurring in Bremerton, Wash. - High School, Middle School, and Pee Wees.

 

Its purpose is to highlight the current achievements of Bremerton Student-Athletes and to bring out of the archives - game scorebooks, yearbooks, newspaper articles, as well as former teammates, friends, and family memories - the past achievements of Bremerton, West, East, and Union High basketball, as well as Bremerton and Mountain View Middle School basketball.

 

Bremerton has a long storied basketball history, that has been forgotten in the annals of time. It is time for those events to be dusted off and brought once again to the forefront of our memory. Why? So we can compare the achievement of current student-athletes to those of the past and understand were we stand.

Opportunities to volunteer include retrieving past Bremerton basketball game article and box score out of the library newspaper microfiche, scanning school yearbook pictures, compiling game data and website inputting, recording current game stats and videoing, editing video and creation of student-athlete highlights, as well as writing and producing of documentaries.
