"Mr. Gallagher is one of our newest teachers and is the new head varsity basketball coach. He teaches physical education, math and pre-algebra. Prior to teaching at B.H.S., he taught and coached for the South Kitsap School District the past fifteen years. Mr. Gallagher graduated from East High and went on to get his degree in business education and psychology. His hobbies include water skiing and snow skiing. Also, being a parent, he enjoys spending time with his two children, Lindsey and Jeffrey.

Mr. Gallagher feels very welcome and excited about being at B.H.S. He thinks the student have a lot of school spirit and pride, and he's glad to be a part of it. He says, "I am looking forward to becoming more involved in the many positive programs that are available at our school." We wish him a successful career in the upcoming years, and we feel fortunate that he is part of our school" - Gauntlet (1989)

"Larry Gallagher, who this year traded in years of South Kitsap loyalty as a longtime Cedar Heights Junior High coach and then as an assistant to SK headman Darrell Anderson for the head job at Bremerton . . ." - The Sun (1988, Dec. 10)

"Larry Gallagher doesn't leave home without it.

Pepsi, that is.

Gallagher, who drinks the stuff like water, will have an ample supply Tuesday night when his Bremerton boys basketball team visits South Kitsap in a doubleheader that opens the high school season for both teams. Bremerton's girls play South Kitsap's girls in the 5:30 opener. The boys game follows.

"I'll have my cooler full of Pepsi right on the bench with me," Gallagher said. "I don't know how much I drink during games. All I know is that it's empty when I'm done. They go in a hurry" - Kitsap Sun (1992, Nov. 30)
