"Before coming to Bremerton, Mr. Balir coached at Sedro-Wooly High School. In his high school days, he starred in basketball, baseball, and tennis at Albany High School, Albany, Oregon. He made varsity letters in both basketball and tennis at Pacific College, and is a graduate of the Coaching School at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
